Doctor Who!!! I love Doctor Who!! I dont really know what else to say but I love Doctor Who!!
I started watching a couple years ago and fell in love (i know i say that a lot!). I started on the 9th Dr, or the 2005 revival, I have yet to properly sit down and watch the older seasons. It's very fun, my mum enjoyed watching it me sometimes, even if she complained she had already seen it with my older sister. My favourite doctor is No. 12, played by Peter Capaldi. He is definitley the coolest had some of my favourite storylines, particularly 'Heaven Sent' and 'The Doctor Falls'. Nine and maybe Eleven come close behind. One time I cosplayed as Rose to a con, no one recognised me tho :( (probably bc she dresses pretty normal and it was an anime con) I should admit something... I have yet to watch the new season with Ncuti. Oops! i did give it a go, but i couldn't get through it for some reason :/

One of the things i dislike about the newer seasons, and just movies/shows in general now is the overuse or reliance on cgi and such. It makes everything seem so fake. Makes everything look like some ugly marvel movie. Another i have a problem is the cringey attempt at being progressive. I love that we have Rose, Donna's trans daughter, about time! but (at least from what i remember) it seemed to make things awkward and felt rather performative; Doctor Who is already naturally progressive. Something is better than nothing tho!

I vaugely remember back when i was definitley too young to be on tumblr/ the internet and when Doctor Who was really popular along with superwholock. I was really on that side of the internet but do remember seeing it around. I miss it and type (is that the right word?) of fandom, although im sure i could find that again somewhere.
